Three experts from our VentureNetwork tackled this question during our BackTalk in July, where they shared their knowledge and experience with Intellectual Property with our ventures, Backs, VentureNetwork members, and other interested guests – all in a fully packed room at Titaan.
- Wendy Teunissen from Level IP shared an Intellectual Property (IP) scan you can conduct to help shape your IP strategy.
- Arjan van der Maarl from Gemeas Patents discussed what he believes is the most effective patent approach.
- Theo-Willem van Leeuwen from Abcor finished it off by elaborating on the best strategies for trademarks and design protection.
Afterwards, our ventures were buzzing with questions – from ‘I’ve talked to quite a few people about my business idea in the past; can I still apply for a patent?’ to ‘Can we patent the sound of a Harley-Davidson?’.
