On December 10, four of our scale-ups pitched their venture for an audience of investors during the investor meeting Green Chemistry and Circularity in Amsterdam. ⚗️♻️ The meeting was organized by Business Angels Connect, Innovationlink and Frank & the Backs.

One of the scale-ups was Ribal Mahdi, founder of RiMODA. He developed an AI-enabled circular marketplace to tackle the problem of unsold, returned and unwanted fashion. On this marketplace:

🛒 brands sell fashion items returned by customers
🛍️ consumers get monetized for unwanted fashion
🏷️ and as an impact model, the underprivileged get a free shopping experience on the platform

Public speaking coach

Ribal pitched his venture successfully after getting trained by public speaking coach Jonathan Talbott, who is affiliated with Frank & the Backs. ‘We had two sessions prior to this event. It allowed me not only to improve my public speaking skills but also to boost my self-confidence while pitching and afterwards have great interaction with the investors.’

Excellent pitches at the investor meeting

In addition to Rimoda, the scale-ups LUXEED Robotics, Revoltech inc and Pantry Lab also had public speaking training from Jonathan and presented their ventures in an excellent manner at the investor meeting.

Now the waiting begins: will the phone ring? ☎️
