Requirements

To qualify for a Startup Visa, you must meet the following conditions:

• Work together with a reliable mentor: a facilitator.
• Participate in a recognized startup program – in our case, the Next Valley program.
• Your product or service must be innovative for the Netherlands.
• Use new technology in production, distribution, and/or marketing.
• Show clear milestones outlining the progression from idea to business.
• Your business must be scalable.
• Demonstrate that you have sufficient financial resources (proof of funds) to cover living expenses in the Netherlands for one year.
• After obtaining the Startup Visa, the venture must be registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) and you, as a founder, must hold the position of statutory director.

Visa Extension Application Support

A Dutch Startup Visa is valid for one year. You can apply to extend your stay after that year. We also provide support throughout this application process.
