Opening New Doors for Dutch entrepreneurs in China Yesterday, May 15th, Consul-General Marjo Crompvoets officially opened the Frank & the Backs China Hub in Shanghai, alongside Mr. Wenlan Xie, Vice Chairman of the Science and Technology Commission of Shanghai. The opening was part of a dynamic week of activity during the Dutch Innovation Roadshow, which featured a delegation of pioneering Dutch companies and research institutes exploring opportunities in the entrepreneurial Shanghai region. From biotech to communication technologies and advanced manufacturing, the delegation had a packed program of visits and exchanges. With the launch of the new China hub, Frank & the Backs is expanding its mission in China, offering Dutch entrepreneurs a soft landing in the Chinese market. In the Netherlands, they already serve as a recognized facilitator for the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) | Partner in Sustainable Development, helping international companies establish themselves in the Netherlands. Hubs like these can play a vital role in facilitating entry into new markets and ecosystems.
