We held our yearly BacksMeeting, bringing together not only our Backs, but also a number of our VentureNetwork members. This year, Secrid hosted the BacksMeeting, our neighbours on the Saturnusstraat in The Hague.
The afternoon started with a warm welcome from Egbert Ottevanger, founder and ceo. Ezrah Goeloe and Antonia Doneva, responsible for operational and program management, then provided a clear and insightful overview of their daily hands-on activities at Frank & the Backs. They shared their experiences, challenges, and ideas for the future, sparking valuable discussions and fresh perspectives among those present.
Following the presentations, René van Geer, co-founder and ceo of SECRID, shared ‘his’ story – from the company’s early beginnings to the lessons learned along the way. An inspiring behind-the-scenes look at a product many of us carry with us every day.
A big thank you to René van Geer and the Secrid team for hosting us in their unique and exceptionally tasteful office. And, of course, for ending the day with a ‘gezellige borrel’ and good conversations by the water!
